Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac recently made First American Mortgage Solutions’ ACI Sky Workbench platform a verified support platform for Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD) 3.6 specifications.
With this verification, ACI Sky Workbench was added to Fannie Mae’s Integrated Vendor List and Freddie Mac’s Software Providers List of verified UAD 3.6 solutions.
Appraisers will be required by the government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs) to provide UAD 3.6 appraisal data in reports submitted to the Uniform Collateral Data Portal on and after Nov. 2.
“UAD 3.6 changes how appraisal data is captured, structured, and delivered,” First American Lender Division President Todd McGowan said in a press release. “ACI Sky Workbench was built with input from hundreds of appraisers to help navigate that shift in one connected environment, from inspection through submission. Verification from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac gives appraisers confidence they can adopt Workbench now and move forward with a platform built for the next generation of appraisal reports, while also complying with the UAD 3.6 specifications.”
UAD 3.6 features a more structured, “data-first” reporting framework designed to improve consistency, accuracy and usability across the mortgage ecosystem, according to the release.
ACI Sky Workbench was built to support that transition by delivering:
- A cloud-based experience meant to unify inspection, data entry and report completion in one workflow;
- Integrated tools built to support the full assignment lifecycle from property inspection through report submission; and
- On-going enhancements developed with appraiser feedback to improve flexibility, efficiency, and useability.
