Atlas VMS, a valuation company providing modern appraisal and technology solutions, recently announced the promotion of Anneta Pope to chief brand officer.
In her new role, Pope will play a critical role in articulating the Atlas VMS corporate strategy as the company expands into new markets and continues to develop technology-driven solutions that better serve lenders and appraisal management companies nationwide, the company said in a release.
Pope, who joined Atlas in 2023 and has more than two decades of experience working in various sectors of mortgage lending, served previously as chief growth officer.
She will serve as a key strategic advisor with this new assignment, and report to Atlas VMS CEO Erik Morin, providing market intelligence and customer insights to inform high-level decision-making and guide the organization’s long-term growth plan.
Pope will lead the development and execution of a unified brand strategy that aligns Atlas’s corporate vision with stakeholder priorities, ensuring consistency and impact across all channels as the company scales.
“Anneta’s new role as chief brand officer is hugely important as we continue to engage and connect with appraisers, clients and our growing staff,” Morin said in the release. “With the recent acquisition and integration of AIM-Port, it became clear that Atlas needed someone acutely attuned to the company’s overarching mission to ensure that our brand and our stakeholders align as we consider further acquisitions and continue to scale.
“No one is better suited to the task than Anneta,” Morin added.
Pope’s appointment follows a year of unparalleled growth for Atlas, which now operates in 40 states and recently surpassed 400 percent growth year-over-year as it marked its second year in business last May.
In July, the company entered the valuation tech space with the acquisition of the AIM-Port platform in a strategic move designed to bring smarter, high-touch solutions to the appraisal and lending ecosystem.
