Trump refuses to sign massive housing reform bill until SAVE Act passes

The House voted 358-32 to pass the highly anticipated 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act on June 23, sending the one of the most comprehensive housing reform measures in decades to President Donald Trump’s desk. The next day, Trump announced he would not sign the legislation until Congress passed a voter eligibility bill.

 
Appeals court remands CFPB’s modified RIF order back to district court

House passes expansive 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act; Trump cancels signing

In a highly anticipated move, the House voted 358-32 to pass the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act on June 23, sending the measure to the desk of President Donald Trump to await his signature. Trump indicated via social media that he does not plan to sign the bill until Congress passes the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act.

 
Warsh promises FOMC ‘will deliver price stability’ after interest rate vote

Trump nominates former CFPB deputy director to helm the agency
