U.S. House Republicans criticized a Federal Reserve plan aimed at mitigating the Volcker Rule’s impact on institutions that hold certain collateralized loan obligations. The Fed said it would give banks an additional two years, until July 2017, to conform their ownership interests in, and sponsorship of, certain CLOs covered by the Volcker Rule.
