The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau will host its third field hearing on arbitration May 5 in Albuquerque, N.M. The hearing likely will be accompanied by a release of the bureau’s official arbitration rulemaking proposal. Such a rule likely would not go into effect until at least 2017.
