Dan Miller, chief executive officer at RightNow Consulting, will be giving title agents insights on how to meet the needs of their best customers at the 2014 National Settlement Services Summit (NS3) in New Orleans, June 9-11.
“I have had the good fortune of gaining experience running and advising large scale real estate agencies and mortgage banks over the last seven years,” Miller said. “I am looking forward to sharing these experiences and insights with title agents who want to use the current business and regulatory climate to dramatically expand their profits. Some of the biggest challenges the industry faces present the largest opportunities.”
Miller founded RightNow in 1997 after a successful 10-year executive career in the title insurance, mortgage lending and real estate industries. Having worked with over 350 clients nationally, including eight of the 10 largest publicly traded real estate-related firms in the country, RightNow has become a market leader in leadership outsourcing, consulting, coaching and education.
Miller said the continued growth of the large-scale real estate team and the continued flight of buyers and sellers to work with top producers, rather than middle performers, makes a compelling opportunity because agents can serve a more business-oriented customer as the role of a Realtor evolves.
“This changes the dynamic of the services agents can offer,” Miller said. “This is a much more purchase-focused market, and we can take advantage of that as well as niche-refinance opportunities with a more seasoned and professional loan officer.”
Miller is a published author and highly regarded keynote speaker, having delivered speeches on the subjects of sales, management and leadership at more than 220 real estate industry events nationwide. He has operated as a C-level interim leader at some of the largest real estate companies in the world and has coached over 300 senior level executives and entrepreneurs to advance their companies and their careers. Among other recent engagements, he has held executive positions of companies and/or divisions owned by Berkshire Hathaway, Prudential Real Estate and Summit Funding, in addition to his current consulting role supporting revenue growth and sales strategy for First American Title Insurance Co.’s Agency Division.
In the mortgage banking space, Miller said the compliance and regulatory impact businesses are facing provide three specific opportunities for title agents that he will elaborate on during his presentation, “An Insider’s View: What You Need to Know about Your Biggest Potential Client” June 10.
“I want to give the people who hear that presentation the ability to instantly execute a business plan that earns them money within the first 90 days of implementation,” Miller said.
