CFTC committee: ‘Scant evidence’ more regs needed in energy markets

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission Energy and Environmental Markets Advisory Committee has recommended that the commission should not finalize its position limits rule, finding “scant evidence” that the proposed rule is necessary or would effectively limit excessive speculation in energy markets.
