Marc regularly speaks at MA real estate forums, has written articles in Housing Wire and Money, Inc. and has been quoted in the Boston Globe. Prior to working as a real estate law attorney, Marc served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Middlesex County (MA) District Attorney’s Office. Marc graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, PA and received his J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law in 1998.

 

Robert Hinson
Senior Vice President, Mortgage Servicing Group
Bank of America

Robert Hinson is Senior Vice President of the National Title Platform for Bank of America. In this position, Robert supports multiple groups within the bank that interface with title vendors, or engage in title curative processes.

Prior to joining the bank, Robert managed a private law practice, focusing on real estate matters, in the Carolinas for ten years. He was recruited from his law practice to a position with a national title and appraisal vendor management company, ultimately managing operations for the southeastern United States. Robert then became a part owner and managing member of a title and appraisal vendor management company that grew into a national provider. The company was sold in 2003, along with a related title insurance underwriter. Robert managed operations of the title insurance underwriter for five years before joining the bank.

Robert earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and his Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Landy Liu

Landy Liu serves as the General Manager of Better Settlement Services and Better Cover, Better.com's insurance businesses. He helped ideate, build, and scale these businesses in 2019, which have expanded into national operations. Better Settlement Services offers Better.com customers fast, transparent title insurance and settlement services. Better Cover provides Better.com borrowers seamless, digital homeowners insurance. Prior to this, Landy acted as a director of Financial Products within Better.com to develop new products using rich mortgage data sets. Prior to joining Better.com, Landy acted as a structured credit investment professional within Credit Suisse's Credit Investments Group.
