On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the Fair Housing Act’s enactment, Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.), ranking member of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, announced the framework of the Renewing Opportunity in the American Dream (ROAD) to Housing Act. The legislation seeks to introduce reforms to federal housing policies that will “lift families up.”
