The House Financial Services Committee, now being led by Chair Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.), released the names of the Republican members of Congress who will be sitting on the committee during the 118th Congress.
McHenry’s Republican majority will include 18 of the 23 members which made up the minority on the committee during the 117th Congress. This includes Reps. Frank Lucas (R-Okla.), Pete Sessions (R-Texas), Bill Posey (R-Fla.), Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-Mo.), Bill Huizenga (R-Mich.), Ann Wagner (R-Mo.), Andy Barr (R-Ky.), Roger Williams (R-Texas), French Hill (R-Ark.), Tom Emmer (R-Minn.), Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.), Alexander Mooney (R-W. Va.), Warren Davidson (R-Ohio), John Rose (R-Tenn.), Bryan Steil (R-Wis.), Lance Gooden (R-Texas), William Timmons (R-S.C.), and Ralph Norman (R-S.C.).
The Republican majority is joined by 11 additional members for this congressional term. Reps. Dan Meuser (R-Pa.), Scott Fitzgerald (R-Wis.), Andrew Garbarino (R-N.Y.), Young Kim (R-Calif.), Byron Donalds (R-Fla.), Mike Flood (R-Neb.), Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.), Zach Nunn (R-Iowa), Monica De La Cruz (R-Texas), Erin Houchin (R-Ind.), and Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) will all be sitting on the House Financial Services Committee for the first time.
Though Congressional Democrats have confirmed that Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) will remain the top Democrat on the committee, the remainder of the committee’s minority membership has not yet been announced.
