D.C. Court holds up CFPB staff purge, sets hearing date

District Court pushed back against the Trump administration’s effort to gut the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) of nearly all its staff, following multiple legal filings attempting to halt – or at least slow – the systematic dismantling of the agency.
