The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission filed a joint amicus brief in the Eleventh Circuit case of Louis v. Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited. The case involves a servicemember asking the court for the right to sue to invalidate a contract that the servicemember and his wife allege is in violation of the Military Lending Act.
