The Deposit Insurance Fund continues to strengthen and remains on track to meet statutory targets established under the Dodd-Frank Act, according to new numbers from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. The agency also announced plans to refund roughly $6 billion to banks that had prepaid into the DIF during the financial crisis.
