The Commodity Futures Trading Commission is seeking public input on swap data recordkeeping and reporting requirements the agency adopted in December 2011. Republican CFTC Commissioner Scott O’Malia said the agency is not able to make good use of the data it is receiving under Dodd-Frank, and the request for comments is one of the ways the commission is attempting to fix its data problems.
