Major Dodd-Frank provisions challenged in federal lawsuit

A legal challenge questioning the constitutionality of the Financial Stability Oversight Council, the CFPB and the appointment of the bureau’s first permanent director is expanding. The attorneys general of South Carolina, Oklahoma and Michigan added their names to the list of plaintiffs in the case.
