Credit union regulator should have power to delay, amend CFPB rules, association says

A credit union trade group said lawmakers should give the National Credit Union Administration authority to amend or delay implementation of Consumer Financial Protection Bureau rules in certain circumstances. This change, proposed by the National Association of Federal Credit Unions, is one of several the group said is necessary to help ease credit unions’ growing regulatory burdens.
