The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council’s (FFIEC) State Liaison Committee (SLC) has welcomed Susannah Marshall as a new member. Her service started April 1, 2021 and will continue through March 31, 2023.
Marshall is a bank commissioner of the Arkansas Bank Department. Her background includes serving as a commercial bank examiner, financial analyst, financial analyst supervisor, and deputy bank commissioner. She has been in her current role since Oct. 1, 2020.
The new committee member also has served on the board of directors for the Conference of State Bank Supervisors, and still serves on various committees within the organization, including vice-chairman of a multi-state, regional regulatory committee and a national committee of state and federal regulators.
The SLC is comprised of five members, and currently includes Tom Fite of the Indiana Department of Financial Institutions and Melanie Hall of the Montana Division of Banking and Financial Institutions.
In addition to Marshall’s appointment, the FFIEC also announced that the American Council of State Savings Supervisors has reappointed Superintendent Kevin Allard of the Ohio Division of Financial Institutions to the SLC for a first full two-year term. Also, the National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors has reappointed Senior Deputy Commissioner Stephen Pleger of the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance for a second two-year term to the committee.
