Calyx recently announced hired Robert Shumake as a national sales consultant for the company, which provides comprehensive mortgage software solutions for banks, credit unions, mortgage bankers, wholesale and correspondent lenders and brokers.
In his new role, Shumake will be responsible for developing effective sales strategies and managing customer relationships for Calyx Path, the company’s latest cloud-based, dynamic, digital loan origination system, according to a press release.
Shumake has almost 20 years of sales experience in the banking, mortgage banking and financial technology industries to Calyx. Most recently, he was account executive, digital mortgage at eOriginal, a provider of digital transaction management solutions. Prior to eOriginal, Shumake was vice president, national sales at ClosingCorp, a provider of residential real estate closing cost data and technology. He also held sales positions at First Mortgage Corporation, Home Savings of America and Washington Mutual. Shumake began his career as a Commercial Bank Officer at California Bank & Trust.
