Joe Langner, the former president and CEO of ReverseVision, a provider of private reverse mortgage sales origination software, has moved to mortgage technology company Gateless, which offers artificial intelligence solutions to companies operating in the mortgage space.
Langner left ReverseVision shortly after it was acquired by Constellation Software. Prior to his time at ReverseVision, Langner served as executive vice president and chief sales officer at Ellie Mae, another mortgage software firm. While there he oversaw the company’s IPO in 2011.
“If you look at how much the loan process has changed over the past few decades, decision automation, especially in underwriting, is a key area where improvement is needed to drive efficiencies,” Langner said in a statement. “I’m thrilled to join the Gateless leadership team during a time when every major lender is thinking about how to streamline cost through AI products that focus on delivering greater accuracy, faster turnaround times and an improved customer experience.”
The focus Langner has placed on technology made him a natural fit to join Gateless, according to Gateless Chairman Victor Ciardelli
“Joe’s impressive reputation for building high-performing tech companies makes him a perfect fit for our growing team,” Ciardelli said. “With his leadership, we’re confident Gateless will become the go-to technology solutions provider for the nation’s top mortgage lenders looking to improve the overall borrower experience.”
