The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) promoted Mark Pocock, one of its lead experts in system risk identification support and specialty supervision, to deputy comptroller for supervisory systems and analytical support (SSAS).
Pocock will succeed Bob Phelps, who has moved into a new position as a special senior advisor to the senior deputy comptroller for SSAS.
In his new role, Pocock will be responsible for the team that identifies, monitors, develops, and presents reports on existing and emerging risks and serves as a centralized risk analysis unit within the OCC. He also will oversee supervision data and information systems, business intelligence and reporting, and analysis teams who perform assessments of supervision and systemic risk.
