John Marshall Bank expanded its commercial lending team by hiring Alice Williams as senior vice president, commercial lender. Williams comes to John Marshall with 39 years of experience in commercial banking.
“As John Marshall Bank seeks to expand its lending capabilities in the D.C. metro region, Alice will serve a key role in sharing her leadership, management and commercial lending expertise with the team,” Andy Peden, John Marshall Bank’s chief lending officer, said in a release.
Before joining John Marshall Bank, Williams was the senior vice president, market president at Truist Bank (formerly BB&T), where she spent almost half of her career. While there, she managed business clients with annual revenues up to $100 million. She also was personally responsible for a diverse commercial portfolio including but not limited to construction companies, government contractors, and commercial real estate.
Williams graduated from the University of Arizona and is an alumnus from the American Bankers Association’s Stonier Graduate School of Banking and National Commercial Lending Graduate School.
