Industry wants more time to consider reopened SEC swaps proposals

Industry groups asked the Securities and Exchange Commission for additional time to comment on security-based swap rules that have yet to be finalized. The SEC voted last month to reopen the comment periods for all commission rules not yet finalized that stem from Title VII of the Dodd-Frank Act. Comments are due by July 22.
