The Federal Reserve Board has issued a proposed rule that would modify its capital planning and stress testing regulations. The proposal includes provisions that would affect all banking organizations, as well as the regulations on the Tier 1 common capital ratio, capital action assumptions and supplementary leverage ratios. Additionally, the Federal Reserve Board also issued a final rule requiring the largest, most systemically important bank holding companies to further strengthen their capital positions.
