The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) has announced John Henrie, Rae-Ann Miller, and Bobby Bean in new positions in its division of risk management supervision (RMS) and division of depositor and consumer protection (DCP).
Henrie replaces Michael Dean as the regional director for the Atlanta region. He will direct RMS and DCP supervision programs in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. The new regional director has been with the FDIC for 33 years, including in positions such as bank examiner, field supervisor, case manager, section chief and review examiner, and deputy regional director.
Miller now is the senior deputy director of supervisory examinations, replacing James Watkins. She will oversee safety and soundness examination, applications, and enforcement action programs and policy for RMS. Miller has worked at the FDIC for over 30 years and has held positions in the division of insurance and research as well as the office of the deputy to the chairman and chief operating officer. Most recently she served as the associate director for risk management policy in RMS.
Bean oversees capital and accounting regulations and policy for RMS as the deputy director of capital markets and accounting policy. Like Miller and Henrie, Bean has more than 30 years at the FDIC, and he has held leadership positions within RMS and the office of the vice chairman. He also has worked with the Federal Reserve Board and the former Federal Savings and Insurance Corp.
