Federal Trade Commission acting Chairwoman Rebecca Slaughter appointed Lindsay Kryzak as director for the agency’s Office of Public Affairs.
“Especially during a pandemic, communicating with the public in clear and efficient ways about the FTC’s work is vital to the agency’s mission,” Slaughter said. “Lindsay’s expertise working with the press and in the digital space will be a major asset to the commission, and I am very happy to welcome her to the team.”
Kryzak’s resume includes working for U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer and U.S. Senate Democrats as a staffer and the director of digital media. Most recently, she served as the director of corporate communications for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. She has overseen strategic communications in both traditional and digital media.
