SimpleNexus and Unify have announced a two-way integration to streamline the loan application process. The integration will improve efficiency and help mortgage lenders reduce application abandonment.
“U.S. mortgage volume is on pace to exceed $4 trillion in 2020 for the first time in history,” SimpleNexus founder and CEO Matt Hansen said in a release. “This unprecedented volume is challenging loan originators to find new ways to be more efficient and productive. By leveraging the combined power of SimpleNexus and Unify, lenders can reduce originators’ workloads and keep more business in the pipeline.”
SimpleNexus is a developer of a digital mortgage platform for loan officers, borrowers, real estate agents, and settlement agents. Unify is a customer relationship management system, primarily for the mortgage industry.
The integration between the two companies starts with SimpleNexus when the loan applicant information is entered into its system. A new contact record is automatically created in Unify, where the mortgage professionals can manage customer relationships and deploy automated outreach campaigns, the release stated.
SimpleNexus also will alert Unify when a borrower abandons a loan application before completion. Unify can then send out pre-written emails, schedule calls, and set appointments to help loan originators convert these abandoned applications into completed ones. Unify also assists mortgage originators enter information into SimpleNexus by pushing information through to the platform and populating a contact’s application record into 32 distinct data fields.
“We are pleased to offer clients a tight-knit integration between Unify and SimpleNexus,” Scott Lidberg, president of Unify, said. “Loan originators are busy, especially in these market conditions, and the automation and efficiencies this integration provides will allow them to manage their days more effectively and grow their businesses.”
