Porter Keadle Moore (PKM), an accounting and advisory firm that serves leading public and private clients nationwide, recently announced the hiring of Larry Gildersleve as its director of practice growth.
Gildersleve brought more than 33 years of financial and operational excellence in manufacturing, construction, technology, private equity, retail, auto finance and banking to PKM, according to a press release. He will be responsible for driving growth within existing core industries, as well as exploring opportunities in new business verticals including construction and hospitality.
Prior to joining PKM, Gildersleve spent 28 years in both the public and private sectors, prior to launching his first private equity firm in Atlanta, Panton Equity Partners, where he led the acquisitions of Ameritech Facility Services, LLC, a construction services provider in the restaurant industry, and Xpress Global Systems, LLC, a transportation and logistics company. Most recently Gildersleve served as CEO of the private equity firm, Brightwell Investments. Having begun his career in public accounting, Gildersleve returns to this industry bringing his extensive network, knowledge base and experience to PKM to help fuel new opportunities and drive initiatives.
“I am excited to join PKM, a firm which shares my belief for investing in people and making it their business to truly understand their client's needs to drive long-term success,” Gildersleve said in the release. “I look forward to working with this talented team and being a part of its continued success and growth.”
“The experience, passion and expertise Larry brings to our team are invaluable assets for PKM's business growth strategy,” PKM Managing Partner Phil Moore said. “We are pleased to have him on board and look forward to a successful and bright future together.”
