NCUA proposes to close Stabilization Fund

The National Credit Union Administration Board unanimously approved a proposal to close the Temporary Corporate Credit Union Stabilization Fund in 2017 during the board’s sixth open meeting of the year. The board also proposed a new rule to accompany the fund closure, and approved a plan to raise the normal operating level for the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund.
