OCC to extend compliance date for portions of its lending limits rule

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency said it will provide banks and thrifts with additional time to comply with provisions of its lending limits rule related to credit exposures arising from derivative and securities financing transactions. Institutions would have been required to comply with the provisions by Jan. 1. Read on to learn about the new compliance date.
